DALI, an acronym for Digital Addressable Lighting Interface, is a data transmission protocol. DALI defines the digital communication between lighting appliances and system equipment controllers. DALI is not a new bus, but supports open systems.The DALI system is an ideal, simplified digital communication system designed to meet the needs of today's dimming and lighting technologies.

The most important feature of DALI technology is that individual lamps have independent addresses, enabling accurate dimming control of individual lamps or groups of lamps through the DALI system. The DALI system software enables independent addressing of single or multiple lamps on the same strong current circuit or on different circuits, enabling individual control and arbitrary grouping. DALI dimming systems therefore offer great flexibility in lighting control, allowing users to design and adjust the lighting solution according to their needs, which can be used during operation after installation without any changes to the wiring.

DALI application advantages: easy to design, simple and economical installation, accurate and reliable control, simple and reliable communication structure, wide range of applications, excellent functions, not only can be used for lighting control in a room, but also can be connected with the building management system (BMS).

This LED dimming driver series inputs standard DALI signal and adopts the most advanced DALI standard IEC62386. It converts DALI signals into signals that can be recognized by LED lights and adjusts the lights so that the DALI system can control the lamps in each area. It can meet with any equipment in line with the DALI protocol on a bus control, and realize the LED lighting products and traditional lighting integrate within the same set of lighting system.
